Vintage shops are heaven on earth for all those who want to look a bit original… and don’t have a large budget. If you aren’t blessed with rich parents (which isn’t always a blessing) or an extremely well-paid job, there’s only one option. You’ll have to be creative and keep your eyes open on everything that isn’t a dime a dozen. Also, when you inherited some stylist genes, this is the part where things get interesting. Everything prefab will only undermine your creativity and personal style evolution.

Also outlet stores, sample and seasonal sales are a great alternative when you don’t have the largest budget. These allow you to buy great stuff for a lower price. Honestly, good clothes never run out of fashion so why would you always want to buy the latest newbies. Here’s our list of personal favorites when it comes to vintage and outlet shopping. Enjoy!

Labellov & Labelcrush

If you’re looking for a rare vintage Hermès, Chanel, Delvaux or… bag, this is one of the places to be. On Labelcrush you can buy and sell yourself, via Labellov you’ll be managed by a team of experts. We also spotted some great jewelry like the YSL earrings on the final picture… Those definitely make an outfit look on point.

Designer Vintage

This is the Dutch version of Labellov. Depending on the country, items from different designers will be available. They have a great selection of Vintage Chanel and Hermès but also less expensive designer brands are on offer.

Vestiaire Collective

Vestiaire Collective basically does the same as Labellov, Labelcrush and Designer Vintage. The only difference: the collection here is huge. France still is the Mecca of high fashion so that basically explains why.

The Outnet

Most of the items that haven’t been sold via Netaporter during a certain season, are offered at The Outnet later on. They always have some great items, offered up to -70% of the original price.

Yoox

Like The Outnet, Yoox is an off-season online store connected to the Netaporter group. They recently merged in October 2016 which makes them one of the biggest online fashion companies. On Yoox you can enjoy former collections and discounts all year long. We recently scored a beautiful black Margiela belt on this website. It was quite a search but also quite a find.
