On Wednesday the 17th, Adidas announced a brand new collaboration. This time around, the three stripes brand is teaming up with the Antwerp-based sneaker store Avenue and more in particular, its founder; Lina Fredriksson. She worked together with Michael Hernandez from The Bruin Co. and High St. Gallery for a collection of 2 EQT Support 93/16 sneakers. The shoes will be released on the 27th of May exclusively at Avenue Antwerp. The global release will follow a week later on June the 3th.

EQT Support 93/16 sneaker

The exclusive sneaker line is inspired by the Antwerp Six and the city’s fashion scene in general. We said it before and we’ll say it again, Antwerpen is the hottest fashion destination. Just take a look at the creative directors of the world’s most respected brands. Most of them are from Antwerp or have studied at the Antwerp fashion academy. The sneaker collab will have its own exclusive launch party at the fashion museum in Antwerp.

The design of the shoes is nearly perfect. It includes Scandinavian embroidery and Aniline leather with patterns. Have a look at the details below.

Avenue Antwerp

Since its inception in 2007, Avenue has been Antwerp’s finest sneaker store, that’s a fact. They offer a broad selection of exclusive sneakers and special and limited editions. They have done exclusive sales for Adidas in the past, but this is their first time designing an exclusive sneaker with the brand. Actually, this is the first time ever that an independent sneaker store in Belgium has this kind of collaboration with Adidas. Congratulations to Avenue Antwerp!
