Adidas NMD R1 OG is re-releasing

As you might know, we’re obsessed with the Adidas NMDs. We even went to the NMD Party in Paris, a few weeks ago. It’s probably no surprise to you that we are over the moon about Adidas’ next release. The sneaker brand is re-releasing it’s NMD R1 OG sneakers!

The NMD R1 is the first model of the NMD-family that was ever released, about 1 year ago. The sneaker made a big difference in the world of sneakers and is now one of Adidas’ strongest legs to stand on. The only big difference with the NMDs that were released later are the red and blue EVA inserts on the midsole. This is what makes the Originals special and recognizable.

Sneakerheads are OBSESSED with this sneaker and resale prices go as high as $1.000. Which is really expensive for a pair of sneakers! If you weren’t able to buy the most wanted NMDs last time they released, we’ve got some news for you. You’ll get a second chance! But you’ll need to be lucky, because we don’t expect Adidas to release a big amount of the NMD R1 OGs.

Price, release date and more

The Adidas NMD R1 Primeknit OG is currently rumored to return on December 15th for a retail price of $180. The 15th of December is still quite far away, so we’ve got time to save up and get ready for it. When it comes to the NMD sneakers, the PrimeKnit versions are the most sought after. When the Adidas NMD R1 OG releases in December, they’ll be the PrimeKnit versions. Besides the PrimeKnit, the NMDs are also made with the Boost technology. That innovative technology is a technology designed for runners. The Boost and PrimeKnit technologies are also used in Kanye West’s collections for Adidas ‘Yeezy’.

For now, there are no indications on whether Adidas is making any changes to the design of the NMD Original. We don’t expect them to make any changes at all. Stay tuned for more NMD news by following us on INSTAGRAM and TWITTER.
