It’s time to officially stock all sandals and slippers… unless you like your feet to have a purple / blue’ish shade. (And unless you’re still heading to a hot destination, of course.) The good news is that you’ll have room for a new pair of boots in your wardrobe. But which ones?

Pretty woman

The knee-high and over-the-knee boots are here to stay. If you like to go for rough, sexy and classy at the same time… these are your thing. Just don’t make Julia Roberts before the makeover your main source of inspiration. There has been a 90’s revival but not everything has to be taken too literally. shoes boots trends fw17Boots: & Other Stories, Isabel Marant, Oscar de la Renta

The shining

The award of most wanted boot of the season goes to Saint Laurent, with special thanks to Anthony Vaccarello. If you have an extra 6000€ and some good connection we’d say “go for it”. When that’s not an option… no worries… there are plenty of other sparkling options. shoes boots trends fw17

Cowboy boots

We haven’t seen this much cowboy boots since our trip to Texas. Calvin Klein, Céline, Vuitton,… Everyone seemed to be inspired by the wild wild west. Just promise us one thing, don’t go for a former Taylor Swift look. We’re still trying to mentally erase these images.  shoes boots trends fw17Boots: Calvin Klein, Céline, Addo via Zalando

Those who weren’t an embryo during the 90’s probably remember these ones. It was one of those decades when everything came with a plateau. Honestly, we’re not the biggest fan. But platforms can be a good option when you’re really really small. However… if you’re taller than 1m75 we suggest you pick one of the above mentioned suggestions.
