He won the 8th season of Australia’s The X Factor on his 17th birthday, signed with Sony Music Australia the day after, released a self-titled album that reached number 12 on the album chart and had 2 hit singles so far. Isaiah Firebrace, or just “Isaiah” as he’s mostly referred to, is a rising star and ready to conquer the world. The song “It’s Gotta Be You” out of his album “Isaiah” became an international hit. After his X Factor experience, the singer didn’t have a lot of time to rest as he was chosen to represent Australia in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. He did that with his second and biggest hit single so far “Don’t Come Easy”.
Coming from a family with an Aboriginal background, Isaiah left home to travel the world and chase his dreams. Along his hard work and dedication came his fast-growing and strong fan base. To whom he is forever grateful for.
Everything about the Moama-born boy screams “enfant terrible” to us. That’s why we were super excited to hear Isaiah was coming to Belgium for a day, as part of his European promo tour. That day was when the magic happened. After weeks of preparations we met up with Isaiah in Brussels for our editorial shoot. To get the perfect shots we basically trashed the Be Manos Hotel, where he was staying during his stay.
For this fashion editorial we wanted to emphasize the upcoming icon that Isaiah is. In conjunction with his golden voice, we created an avant-garde, edgy and sophisticated look to go with it. Dressed in Balenciaga, J.W. Anderson, Comme des Garçons, Dior Homme and more, he proves he is in fact a style chameleon. Leaving us eager to know what the future holds for this young artist, who hasn’t even reached his full potential.
After seeing the entire editorial below, make sure to watch the interview we did with Isaiah, too!
