On Tuesday, the Valentino Cruise 2018 runway show took place. Where Louis Vuitton opted for Kyoto and Dior for LA, the Italian brand chose New York City as this year’s location to showcase its Cruise collection for 2018. Pierpaolo Piccioli showed his most relaxed collection to date for Valentino. This is his first solo cruise collection since his former partner left him for a top position at Dior.
This collection was very casual, for a high-end brand like Valentino. But we like that! The line included hooded pullovers, exaggerated wide-leg denim, track pants, and jersey-style tank dresses with lace inserts.
The Italian brand always makes sure to make a gigantic collection. This time, there were 68 looks. It’s a struggle to go through the entire collection if you’re not a 100% interested in it. That’s why we selected some of our favorite looks you need to see from the runway collection.
