GCDS is the Italian brand that is conquering the street style scene. The one-year-old brand is already one of the most upcoming and promising streetwear brands of the moment. In its first year of existence, street style stars like Caroline Vreeland, Sita Abellan, Brian H. Whittaker, Kendall jenner and many more have proudly worn its clothes.

God Can’t Destroy Streetwear

As for the clothes itself, the brand is best known for producing oversized logo sweaters, rhinestone chokers, bomber jackets covered in quirky patches, and transparent bodysuits.

The brand’s name stands for God Can’t Destroy Streetwear and that’s just another reason to love GCDS. Apart from the fact that they’re good at what they do, their vibe is exactly what the industry needs right now. And we’re not the only ones who are obsessed with its vibe. It recently sold 5,000 sweaters in Korea—not bad for a one-year-old brand. This all proves that it is more than just another instagram brand.

Just a few weeks ago, the Italian brand moved to New York City to show its ss18 collection. During a backstage interview, creative director Giuliano Calza said he designed a wardrobe for the imaginative guests of a contemporary yachting club. The collection reflected the bold, colorful streetwear vibes that helped GCDS get commercial success in the span of only a few seasons. For GCDS and streetwear in general, the future is bright.
