A month ago, the beauty world lost its shit when Beyoncé was wearing an all Glossier makeup look. It was the same day as the internet’s breakdown about the queen’s daughter Blue Ivy, who hilariously calmed down both of her iconic parents. Which was already one of my favorite moments in television of 2018.

I think we can all agree she looked amazing – even though she could’ve lost either the hat or the shades. As a result, makeup addicts from all over the world were hyped about the fact they could now cover themselves with the exact same products as Queen B. The only issue was that one Glossier product that was used for Beyoncé’s look was kept a secret. We’re talking about a new undefined eye-product that was “coming soon” until further notice. It turns out we had to wait until last night’s Oscars to find out.

Lidstar glistening eye glow

What a better time and place to launch a new product than at one of the most important red carpet events of the year? Glossier turned the Oscars into the #Gloscars, debuting its new Lidstar glistening eye glow. They did that through the beauty looks of Tracee Ellis Ross, Taraji P. HensonGreta Gerwig, Salma Hayek and more. The new eyeshadow product is available in six high-shine shades. For your interest; Beyoncé wore Fawn. Lidstar is a blendable formula with a metallic finish. It’s the first eyeshadow palette from the cult New York-based brand. If you need more inspiration, make sure to check out the #Gloscars hashtag to see more of your favorite celebrities rock the new shades.

All of the shades are now available on the Glossier website.
