Ever since Rihanna came out with Fenty Beauty, the make-up world has been changed forever. She showed everyone the importance of inclusivity, with a foundation shade range that sent other brand packing. And now she’s back for more, with a holiday make-up collection that is shooting for the stars. We’re breaking down the entire collection today, so take a seat, strap in and prepare for liftoff!

Extraterrestrial beauty

Fenty Beauty’s holiday line is called the Galaxy collection, and that name shines through in the products. The entire collection consists of completely new products with never seen before formula’s and packaging. Exciting much! Let’s line them up.

All about lips

Lots of people were suprised that Riri didn’t include lipsticks in her first launch, because she’s known to be a fan of a good bold lip. However, the first launch was clearly all about the skin, so it made sense that there were no lipsticks, liners or any of that included. In the Galaxy collection, there are quite a few new lip products: the Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick (say that ten times fast) comes in four shiny/satiny shades; two lighter colours and two darker ones. Check them out (shade name included!) here:

The other new lip product is a gloss. The universal Gloss Bomb from the first launch was an instant hit, and now Riri opted for the colourful route. The Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter (I guess Rihanna likes long names) will be available in four colours, just like the lipstick, and inside the tube they look very spacey and cool. If they’re as good as the Gloss Bomb, they’re going to be a hit!

Magic on the eyes

It was only a matter of time until Fenty Beauty would come out with eye products, and here we are! Firstly, here are three magic liners, and of course the star of the whole collection is the Galaxy eyeshadow palette.

Rub it and it gives you something extra, these are not your regular liners. The Glitter Release Liners appear to be some 2-in-1 wizard kinda thing. When you first apply the liner, it has a soft sheen and if you wanna glam it up, rubbing the liner after they are dry will literally release the glitter, and make everything super sparkly. Not quite something we have already seen, leave it to Queen Riri to keep innovating (and check the video below to see the transformation)!

Then, last but most certainly not least, there is the Galaxy eyeshadow palette. First of all: the holographic packaging is absolutely stunning. The shadows inside are colourful and extremely sparkly, every last one of them contains a shit ton of glitter. A palette of statement pieces, which perfectly ties in with what we talked about in our latest Beauty Crush article. Everybody owns neutral transition shades, why not have some fun with lid topper shades instead? With these shadows, you’ll be able to transform your eyes into a colourful starry night. They are perfect to add some fun to a smokey eye, or to use as a topper over another (matte) eyeshadow. Once again, this product gives you a ton of options to play around.

Get yourself a piece of galaxy

Now, the Galaxy collection actually goes live tomorrow, on October 13th (Rihanna doesn’t do bad luck). You’ll be able to shop the entire collection on the Fenty Beauty site, or via Sephora. Prices are still a little unclear, but they’ll probably be in the same price range as her previous products, which means about 20 dollars for lip products and around 40-50 dollars for the eyeshadow palette. The collection *might* be limited edition, so you *might* wanna act fast if you want some. Which items do you want to get?
