Korres, from Greece with love

You don’t know how to support Greek economy, you like nature and to treat yourself once in a while? Than you definitely have to check out one of our all time favorite beauty brands, Korres!

Korres found its roots in 1989 when George Korres started to work at the Tzivanides Pharmacy in Athens. At first he was a bit skeptic about homeopathy but soon he discovered the powers of natural ingredients. As soon as he was trusted the management of the pharmacy he realized his own natural skincare line.

Natural, ecologic and not tested on animals

Of course Korres got our attention thanks to its great looks. Yes, we’re that superficial! But you can’t build a relationship based on external factors only. We have been putting all that crap on our faces for so long that we’re thrilled we finally discovered a natural  beauty range. Because yes, all products are silicones, parabens, alcohol, synthetic dye, retinol and mineral oil free free. Besides that nothing is tested on animals and they use renewable energy. How great is that!

Black pine, bergamot pear and Aloe & Dittany

These are the natural ingredients of some of our favorite products. In the morning we use the black pine anti wrinkle, firming & lifting day cream. Because you can never start early enough with taking care of your skin. Before you realize it, you’re 40 and then you’ll be happy you never took anything for granted. Bergamot pear refers to the shower gel you see in the featured picture, such a great smell. A bottle of that makes you never want to leave the bath tub or shower again… And the shampoo we like most is aloe & dittany, it really does make your hair shine bright like a diamond.

Besides the skin care products they also have a wide beauty range with lipsticks, bronzers, mascara and so on. But we’ll keep that for another article!
