Office days equals boring colors. Just look around at the office and count the blues, blacks, and greys. Lucky are the ones who have a 9 to 5 job where flashy color blocking is allowed. But that doesn’t need to be an inconvenience. Many have proved that black can be worn as stylish as orange or bubblegum pink. So if you want a pull off a cutting-edge look on the job and make your colleagues desire every black garment you’re wearing. Take an avant-garde approach instead of a casual one. We bumped into Kelly during her work break and she did just that.
She wore an asymmetric skirt with a plaid flare shirt and steady shoes. It’s still elegant, fashionable and office day approved. Does that tempt you? The only tip you need to keep in mind here is not to overthink it when going avant-garde black at work. Just wear it with confidence and you’re good to go.
