There’s no such thing as a great outfit without the right accessories. This time we’re not talking about bags or shoes, but statement jewelry. A beautiful pair of earrings, a necklace or a bracelet can even make the most basic look into something outstanding. When you’re not really in the mood to go all gold or silver, meet the AR.M collection, designed by Anna Rosa Moschouti. Her minimalistic creations are all made from unconventional materials such as copper pipes, climbing rope, acrylic glass and marble.
Anna Rosa Moschouti launched her own brand in April 2017, after making and selling handcrafted jewels on the side the past four years. The first collection was all about special rope wrapping techniques, combined with copper and metallic pipes. All pieces had a very clean look and feel but were also eye-catching. As Anna Rosa explains herself “Minimalists can make a statement too”.
Curious yet? Discover the collection in real life at De Nieuwe Natie, located on the top floor of Shopping Stadsfeestzaal in Antwerp, until the first of April.
Spring 2018: Lithos
The spring 2018 collection is called Lithos and mainly made from recycled Corian (acrylic marble). All pieces have a heavy look & feel but are yet very light and easy to wear. The main source of inspiration was our everyday, urban environment. This collection celebrates the complexity of our current world through harmonic and simple shapes.
Good to know: all materials are eco-friendly! AR.M mostly uses scrap pieces and old furniture from Europe. The brand commits to a no-waste policy while still offering fashionable jewelry that makes a change.
Anna Rosa Moschouti is what we like to call a modern nomad. Her mom is a Dutch interior designer, she grew up and studied in Greece and then moved to Holland to work as an architect. Currently she’s based in Antwerp to pursue her real dream: designing and creating jewelry.
