A few weeks back we lost one of Paris’ hottest concept stores; Colette. Even though the iconic store already announced the sad news months ago, we still felt lost when they officially closed. After 20 years they will be missed on rue Saint-Honoré. Colette most certainly earned its spot at the top. They did that by inspiring people worldwide with an eclectic fuse of high-end fashion and lifestyle. Respectfully carrying a large portfolio of cutting-edge labels, as well as up-and-coming designers.
As the Colette fairy tale is officially over, Paris is getting ready to welcome another boutique that does it for the street culture. Colette’s old staff members joined forces to launch NOUS Paris. A new concept store situated on 48 Rue Cambon gleaming a light on the street culture and high-tech goods. It’s offering watches, eyewear, and sneakers, including a solid book collection. All of that will be put in their new 150 sq-meters boutique that will open its doors on January 8 at 11 am. However, to push their high-tech department to new heights, the exclusive world launch of the OnePlus 5T smartphone will be there.
The bra(i)n(d)s behind NOUS Paris
Two enfants terribles are responsible for NOUS Paris. Marvin Dein will be in charge of the sneakers department. Sébastien Chapelle will be director of the NOUS high-tech and watch branch. The creative duo that once ruled Colette will no longer have the upper hand on this new project. To be honest, we’ll also miss the prodigious womenswear collections, as NOUS Paris won’t be selling womenswear or cosmetics in store. Here are a couple of brands they will be collaborating with:
Ceizer, Fxxking Rabbits (Tokyo), Neighborhood (Japan), Chinatown Market (Los Angeles, STAMPD (Los Angeles), Born x Raised, KRINK (New York), Medicom Toy, The Skate Room (Brussels), Daily Paper (Amsterdam), Billionaire Boys Club, Converse, Vans, Wacko Maria, Jason Mark and more.
