Before festival season officially kicks off we thought let’s go on a trivial pursuit for looks to wear on the festivals to come. And several moments later we lost focus and ended up spending hours more on Pinterest. But the most interesting part is how our online summer crush, Andrea Pompilio, accidentally made an entire menswear collection that was not meant for festival season. But look at it this way: it’s a win-win for all of us.
If there’s a designer you need to keep in mind when it comes to festival attire, Andrea Pompilio is your guy. While we were exploring their spring 2017 menswear collection we spotted that they paid tribute to 3 of our favorite spring-summer trends: stripes, statement pieces and the Cuban collar.
The Cuban collar is life! For guys who love a party in Vegas and believe that the Tony Montana era was golden, bring that Cuban collar shirt to the streets. Because the world needs to see it now, more than ever.
Statement pieces are always welcome. Plus, if you suddenly wake up feeling off and don’t want to talk to anybody, a statement sweater often does the job.
As long as we can remember stripes were always favored by men. The love grew stronger between them when mankind gave us options: horizontals and verticals. With time, stripes have become omnipresent in all our wardrobes. At your morning meetings, birthday parties, at work and now during festivals. Anyways, stripes are constantly taken seriously, but it doesn’t have to.
And now that we have discovered Andrea Pompilio, our wardrobes will remain on top of its game. Still, we’re eager to see how their future collections will have to offer us.
