Since that New York Fashion Week is behind us. We can finally take one step back to digest all the presented collections. And distinguish the less captivating collections from the most memorable collections on the runway in New York.
At the Enfnts Terribles HQ  we found certain collections so realistically groundbreaking . That we already decided what future style trend we’ll be wearing next spring. Between various menswear collections we elected Ovadia & Sons as the label that presented a collection that was : diverse, ready-to-wear and spring approved.
Ovadia & Sons - Menswear

Who are the Ovadia brothers ?

The twin duo Shimon & Ariel Ovadia  were born in Jerusalem. They both moved to Brooklyn ( New York) at a younger age. The Ovadia brothers were no stranger to the New York city underground scene. In the 80’s and 90’s the underground scene was massively determined by rock & roll , hip hop music and street culture.

By Fall 2011 the Ovadia brothers launched Ovadia & Sons with a simple concept. Which was to design clothing that was contemporary, functional and uncommon. Style pieces that both brothers needed in their wardrobe.

Addressing the hippie and rasta subcultures

Ovadia & Sons showcased their Spring 2017 menswear line last week at New York Fashion Week : Mens. The latest collection can be seen as a step forward to redirecting the brand’s aesthetic. A reorientation to be focused on music and street culture rather than anything else. Ovadia & Sons took honest inspiration from the hippie and Rasta cultures with a sharp eye for details .

Compared to past collections we sincerely noticed how Ovidia & Sons is trying to bring innovation with every presentation. That’s the reason why their Spring 2017 menswear line is a must-wear for next spring season.

If it were up to us, your wardrobe would be a mix of pink hues, leopard prints, satin bombers, clean white tees and fringes by next spring. So take a closer look at the Ovadia & Sons Spring 2017 menswear collection.
