Amen to This New Weekday Denim Collection

If there’s one item of all items that can’t be missing in a 2018-proof wardrobe it must be denim. A good pair of jeans is nowadays simply more essential than a good old boring black dress. A lot of brands have denim in their collection, but we personally have a slight preference for the more specialized goods. Labels such as Weekday have an expanded jeans collection, which doesn’t only involve a larger choice, it also leads to improved fits and a good quality.

The general denim trends for this upcoming summer are high waists, bleached colors and the disappearance of the way-too-skinny leg. Also colored jeans is making an appearance, mostly styled in ton-sur-ton looks. The Weekday ss18 denim collection gives us a beautiful overview of everything that’s on point right now. For women there are flared fits, mom jeans and high-waist straight models. Men wear their jeans ankle length and go for straight fits. The overall color palette is very bright with bleached, blue washings and pastel shades. If you’re still wearing a stretchy low-waist skinny, we suggest you hide it somewhere till the time is right and head to the nearest Weekday store for an ss18 approved fit.
