You know how it is – you’re stuck behind your desk and it’s surprisingly cold outside. You’re not prepared at all to pull out your thickest coats and turtlenecks, all though you do look super chic while doing so. Therefore, we need to daydream away to those warmer, tropical locations where we wished we were.
I’ve been lucky enough to go to the beautiful tropical location that is the Maldives and it is truly paradise on Earth. I don’t think I’ve seen anything as beautiful. The Maldives is made up of 1,000 coral islands and is instantly recognised by it’s white sand and turquoise water.
I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting Greece – but it is definitely on the top of my list. I mean the views, the food, the hot boys. What’s not to love? Specifically Santorini seems like a dream, there’s nothing I would love more than to gaze out over that view with a drink in my hand.
Amangiri, Grand Canyon
Technically, Amangiri is in Utah so not fully Grand Canyon. However, it is possibly the most peaceful and beautiful place I’ve ever been. I felt a inner spiritual balance I’ve never experienced while walking through the dessert. So intimate, so gorgeous – and that pool? Incredible. This is a tropical destination I definitely want to travel back to.
Oman is a country in the Middle East, with the capital being Muscat. I have never travelled to the Middle East that much and there’s something that intrigues me about that region. Don’t approve of all of their human rights, but this destination just look utterly gorgeous.
Nevis is an island in the Caribbean, with quite the lush wildlife. Very difficult to get to as we had to take two planes and a long boat ride – but when we arrived it was well worth the wait. Beautiful nature, but the most amazing was the people. People in the Caribbean have such a laid back attitude and love of life, it was amazing to be surrounded by this atmosphere.
Which tropical destination do you wish you were in right now?
