19 Designer Knit Sweaters and Cardigans to Invest in

It’s the unofficial return of the cold, and many of us are planning a new-season wardrobe update. Besides, these constant temperature switches are only stimulating our minds to invest in new knitwear. And if you know us by now, you know you can expect a long, but an all-embracing, diverse and playful selection. We picked out 19 knit sweaters and cardigans ‘du moment’ from some of our favorite labels. Have a look at our picks of the season that will keep you warm for several months or even years, if you maintain them right.

New-season update: knit sweaters and cardigans and where to cop them

The only thing on our minds right now is to score a few timeless pieces that will last long enough and keep us warm for several seasons. It’s only natural to want the best of knit sweaters out there. However, it’s another thing to find them.

If you’re in it for the long term, you’ll have to put in it the work and go into search mode. You should also know what kind of knit tops you’re most likely to wear. Do you like a fuzzy tactile cardigan like chez Marni over a slouchy and oversized knit from Y/Project or are you more into something less screamy like an ivory-hued cable knit sweater from Jacquemus? We’re just asking because they come in a lot of different shapes and fits.

The Pursuit of Knitwear

During our online boutique quest in the pursuit of knitwear, we found tons of Mohair-blend and other wool tops. The good news is that this season the knitwear offering is very interesting. As usual, our picks of the season consist of affordable and pricey pieces. So, here you have them, the 19 knit sweaters and cardigans we selected for you.
