5 Sneakers to Buy in The Second Week of June

The second week of June seems like a trip to the jungle, at least when you look at these five new sneakers! The animals, the plants, and even the azure-colored waters are integrated into this list. So, dive into the tropics and keep your eyes open for these release dates.

1. Dr. Martens x HEAVEN by Marc Jacobs

These aren’t sneakers, we know. But this collaboration between Dr. Martens and American designer Marc Jacobs was too cool to be left out. It resulted in unisex summer shoes with a ’90s nostalgia aesthetic. With every collab, there is a good mixture between the two brands. This time, it is the signature yellow stitching from Dr. Martens and Heaven’s customary double-headed bear logo.

The Dr. Martens x HEAVEN by Marc Jacobs capsule will be available on June 6th via the Dr. Martens website.

2. Eames x Reebok Classic Leather “Rosewood”

This Reebok sneaker is obviously in collaboration with Eames. Eames is an American design office that had many iconic designs in the 20th century. The color “Rosewood” comes from the armchair that was designed in 1956. This chair is well-known and put Eames’ name on the map.

Eames x Reebok Classic Leather “Rosewood” will be available on June 9th via the website of Reebok.

3. Nike LeBron 19 Low “Safari”

One of the best American basketball players in the world, LeBron James, is the co-designer for this “Safari” sneaker. His nickname “Jungle King” or “King of the Jungle” has a lot to do with this design. The sneaker is covered by a leopard toe, a tiger tongue, and a zebra heel.

Nike LeBron 19 Low “Safari” will be available on June 9th via the website of Nike.

4. NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” by Tom Sachs

Tom Sachs is an American artist, who lives in New York. Together with Nike, they created a new sneaker for their ‘NikeCraft project’. The project designs shoes for space explorers and scientists with visions of setting foot on Mars. Besides that, the “General Purpose Shoe” is also perfectly wearable in daily life with its everyday-use silhouette. This sneaker just screams innovation!

The Nike GPS General Purpose Shoe will be available on June 10th via the website of NikeCraft.

5. Adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit “Slate Azure”

The American owner of Yeezy, Kanye West, was quiet this spring, but he’s catching up with a lot of new sneaker releases. After a shock drop during NBA-All Star weekend in February, these sneakers are back! A sock-like ankle features the design, and the weaved laces and reflective heel caps are details that make this sneaker very intriguing.

Adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit “Slate Azure” will be available on June 10th via the website of Adidas.
