5 Upcoming Sneaker Releases You Have to Look Out For

We sincerely hope your bank account is ready for this article because the sneaker world blessed us once again with some amazing releases. It was hard, but we made a selection for you featuring the best ones to come. Most of these even come out before the end of October!

1. ADER Error X PUMA — Trailfox Overland

The first sneakers that are featured in this list, are the ADER Error X PUMA. It’s not the first time these brands collaborate. In fact, this is their third sneaker collaboration. But it is the first time they feature the model Trailfox Overland. The Trailfox Overland‘s design exists of leather, suede and mesh. While also boasting a compression-molded EVA midsole and a zoned-EVA outsole for cushioning, a TPU overlay on the midsole and toggle laces.

Unlike their previous collabs, this sneaker is a very dark one. Featuring colors such as black and dark blue and finished with some gray detailing. The Trailfox Overland is provided with toggle laces, in addition to a grippy outsole underneath, which allows you to hit the trails if you prefer.

Price: Approximately $187
Release date: 19/10/2019

Air Max 1 - "Wagashi"

2. Air Max 1 — Wagashi

You know that at Enfnts Terribles we have a soft spot for Japan. So, these Wagashi sneakers, inspired by Japanese sweets, had to be included in this list. Chase Shiel and Ryustyler, the duo behind the Matcha Air Jordan 1, came out with their new Wagashi Nike Air Max 1. As you can see in the picture, the pastel colors were an obvious decision for this shoe. But a less obvious reference is the icy sole, inspired by wagashi ingredients. Also, the laser-engraved floral motif on the Swoosh pays homage to the traditional chrysanthemum shape often used in wagashi design.

This sweet shoe comes in a wooden box, a wink to the traditional boxes of confectionery. In the box, you can find six additional laces in five colorful colors, as well as a classic white pair. All of this is wrapped — in traditional furoshiki style — in a handwoven Japanese fabric. And last but not least, the box includes a lookbook signed by the artist, which features a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the shoe. Talking about a sweet gift, right?

3. Maison Margiela — Black Leather Creeper Sneaker

We are very sorry, but for this one, we had to cheat. This sneaker is actually already available, but it is so good, it was impossible to exclude it from the list. Not only are these creepers very pretty, but since they are a bit more formal, you can now wear your sneakers everywhere. Appropriately. These Maison Margiela sneakers feature a black leather upper, woven leather detailing at the toe, tonal lace-up closure, leather lining, white stitching at the heel, a sculpted platform rubber midsole, tonal rubber outsole and silver-tone hardware.

Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low - "University Red"

4. Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low — University Red

Another (rumored) collaboration we couldn’t exclude from this list, is the Off-White X Nike Dunk Low University Red. It was Stadium Goods that blessed us with the details of this release. This leather sneaker is mostly red, featuring a gray base. There will be two other colorways, but only one has been confirmed by Virgil Abloh himself. Just as the first sneaker in the list, the ADER Error X PUMA collab, these come with a hiking-inspired lacing system. The typical Off-White tag is visible on the lateral side Swoosh. On the medial side of the shoe, the Off-White™ X Nike text branding is foreseen. The tongue leaves the foam exposed around the edges, a trademark of Abloh’s original “The Ten” collaboration.

5. Adidas and Reebok — Instapump Fury

In celebration of the Instapump Fury’s 25th anniversary, Reebok and Adidas put their heads together to create a new version for the sneaker. The idea behind the product is to keep the same design but adding the iconic Adidas Boost technology. The result is a sneaker that redefines the industry because of its modern and minimalistic design and fits perfectly in both Reebok’s and Adidas’ concepts. The Instapump Fury was born in 1994 and was, back then, a revolutionizing sneaker. Now, the brand wants to do the same by pushing limits and performance, once again. The all-new Instapump Fury Boost is created for a whole new generation, receiving numerous tweaks and upgrades, and they will be featured across three different packs: “Prototype”, “OG Meets OG” and “Black & White”.
