7 YouTubers To Follow For Your Daily Dose of Fashion

Learning about fashion is always fun, but not always the easiest. Therefore, we created a list with our favorite fashion YouTubers to help you deepen your knowledge about the topic.

1. HauteLeMode

Fashion critic Luke Meagher started his YouTube channel HauteLeMode back in 2015. HauteLeMode tries to make the fashion industry and fashion brands easily understandable for the average person that doesn’t know that much about it. His unfiltered breakdowns of celebrities’ red carpet looks and roasts of brands like Givenchy and Balenciaga are everything you need. Especially if you’re into memes, HauteLeMode is the channel for you.

2. Amy Serrano

Starting her channel in 2015, Amy Serrano has now over 300k subscribers. The beauty junkie and fashion lover makes fun-to-watch YouTube videos about a not-bland lifestyle with a focus on easy beauty — like editorial looks — expressing your personal style and how to enhance it. From vlogging her New York Fashion Week to thrifting Chanel to how-to-style videos, Amy offers it all.

3. The Fashion Archive

The Fashion Archive is a YouTube channel created by Odunayo Ojo. He’s a Fashion Communication and Journalism student at Central Saint Martins, so he knows what he’s talking about! Odunayo documents and commentates on all sorts of fashion-related topics. From Fashion Academies to the history of ready-to-wear fashion. The Fashion Archive offers an interesting view of everything that is happening in the fashion world without making it too hard to understand.

4. TheLineUp

Stockholm-based Julia Dang is the face behind TheLineUp. She posts original and creative videos about how to put together your outfits and makes thrift flip videos. Julia also created her own sustainable and ethically produced brand called DANG STHLM in 2019.

5. Bestdressed

Ashley created her YouTube channel Bestdressed back in 2015 and has been making videos ever since. Having studied film at UCLA, Ashley creates aesthetically pleasing videos. Bringing you a mix from fashion, thrifting, and personal adventures, Ashley is very real and down-to-earth. Her videos are relaxing while still very funny because of her “spicy dry humor”. Bestdressed teaches you more about sustainable fashion and how to match your outfits.

6. Loic Prigent

Loic Prigent can’t be missing from this list. The Parisian filmmaker and journalist takes you on his journey through different fashion shows. His aim is to communicate the fun, the intricacies, and the excitement of fashion to his viewers. Prigent is present at practically every major fashion show, filming different fashion designers, backstage happenings, and front-row. If you want exclusive interviews and be up-to-date, Prigent’s channel is the way to go.

Loïc Prigent also directed ‘Karl Lagerfeld Sketches His Life’, which you can read more about in our article “9 Must-See Fashion Documentaries”.

7. The Casual

The Casual is a YouTube channel from Japan and focusses on fashion brand history, knowledge, and industry. The YouTube channel is very informative and teaches you about the difference between Japanese and American fashion, how brands do in the fashion industry, and keeps you up-to-date with the latest releases. It’s a very interesting channel that is worth checking out.
