9 New Songs You Should Stream Right Now

It looks like a lot of artists have been bottling up music releases during the last few months, for obvious reasons. We’ve been blessed with some epic music releases lately, so we’re listing some of our favorites for you.

1. Miley Cyrus — Midnight Sky

Miley Cyrus put on some disco makeup and gave it her all in a self-directed music video for her new single “Midnight Sky”. It’s the singer’s first release this year and we’re not mad at it. The new clip and song are inspired by female music icons, including Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, and Debbie Harry, according to a statement.

2. Dua Lipa — Levitating feat. Madonna and Missy Elliott [The Blessed Madonna Remix]

After releasing the banger album Future Nostalgia, Dua Lipa is about to release a remix album filled with remixes of the songs of her second studio album. This is the first remix to be released and it features Missy Eliot and the queen of pop, Madonna. Other remixes will feature artists like Gwen Stefani, Mark Ronson, and more. If you’re a fan of Madonna’s early ’00s dance songs, you’re in for a treat.

3. Lous and the Yakuza — Laisse Moi feat. Hamza

Congolese-Belgian singer Lous and the Yakuza is one of our favorite new artists of the moment. She’s been keeping herself busy with getting ready to release a debut album and really starting to become a heavyweight in the scene. Laisse Moi featuring Hamza is one of the songs that will be featured on that highly anticipated album, which she already talked about in our exclusive interview with her.

4. Sunday Rose — Our Girls

Sunday Rose is, just like Lous and the Yakuza, one of the most interesting upcoming Belgian artists and has moved quite a few people with her impressive voice. Her new single “Our Girls” is the first release since her radio hit “Worst I Ever Had” and is a collaboration between her and infamous Belgian photographer Stefan Vanfleteren. The song is a tribute to the young girls that were murdered by Marc Dutroux (a Belgian child molester and murderer) and gives us goosebumps all over our body. A beautiful ballad that shows that Sunday Rose is a phenomenal singer and songwriter to keep an eye on.

5. LAUREL — Scream Drive Faster

LAUREL is far from being a newbie and is certainly one of the coolest singers we know. Debuting in 2014, it took her some time to establish herself but thanks to her great debut album DOGVIOLET, she became one of the hottest stars in the UK. Her comeback single “Scream Drive Faster” is a song that brings you to a greater mindset and uplifts you within seconds.

6. The Japanese House — Dionne Feat. Justin Vernon

Whenever we need to relax or need a break, we put on The Japanese House’s fantastic album Good at Falling. The British breakout star has proven to be one of the best songwriters of the moment and it’s no surprise that many big names want to collaborate with her. One of them is her dear friend Justin Vernon, known as Bon Iver, and the result of their cooperation is as wonderful as we expected. “Dionne” is easily one of The Japanese House’s most exciting songs.

7. Danga — Bad Idea

Danga is probably best known as the DJ that gets everyone dancing. Diving deeper into producing, the Antwerp-based DJ is now releasing a debut single called Bad Idea. It’s a danceable upbeat summer track with a pinch of pop, but is far from being the cliché track some might expect after our little description. Listening to “Bad Idea” is absolutely no bad idea because it gives your mood the right boost!

8. JEPP — Treat Me Right

Belgian singer Jasper Publie has always been passionate about music and was the lead singer of a Belgian boy band. A couple years later, he’s relaunching himself as an artist and shows that he’s a cool pop star with some big potential. “Treat Me Right” is just his second release as JEPP, but continues to set the tone for his future. The summer song sounds like a real bop that has everything to become a huge hit.

9. BENEE — Snail

If 2020 is the year of Tik Tok, it’s probably also because of a young singer from New Zealand. BENEE has been around for a bit already, but her huge breakthrough song “SUPALONELY” made her one of the hottest upcoming singers of the moment. Her songs are edgy pop and really bring something refreshing to the game, which even lead to many comparisons to Billie Eilish. BENEE’s new track “Snail” is exactly what we hoped for and could introduce her to an even bigger audience.
