Depending on which part of the globe you live, the nature of your investment might vary. In northern countries it’s best to go for layering, expensive high summer items may not be worth the money. Unless you plan on spending a month or two abroad. T-shirts and blouses are always a good option… combined with a trench, checkered blazer or raincoat when it’s a bit colder. Also, you can’t do no harm with classy shirt dresses and anything denim.
Accessories
After that epic show, owning at least one Versace item is a must. If you’re a rookie when it comes to colors and prints, we suggest you play it safe and start with a scarf, belt or a piece of jewelry. Accessory-wise it’s always good to invest in iconic brands such as Vuitton, Prada, Balenciaga, Versace, Chanel and Gucci. But also Chloé and Isabel Marant have proven to be worth the money. Most of the accessories from these high-end labels are timeless and will last a decade or five.
