Adidas Originals Introduces New Silhouette Dubbed ‘Deerupt’

There has never been a way of stopping Adidas Originals and there won’t be anytime soon. Today Adidas Originals revealed to us that its brand new sneaker dubbed Deerupt will drop on Thursday, March 22. If you thought the German sportswear brand was done releasing new silhouettes, you were wrong. Watch closely while they introduce the new Deerupt and turn it into a lifestyle.

Everything is built on a grid

Inspired by city planning, architecture and natural phenomena, the grid motif decorating the sneaker is a key element here. However, it was already done back in the 80s. At that time, the grid was applied on the Adidas Marathon sneaker. Which had the same mesh structure but only on the mid-sole of the shoe. In 2018, the same grid pattern beautifies the entire shoe, giving it a modern look.

The very first Deerupt sneaker edition will be available in Solar Bird. It’s a colorway combining Solar Red and Bluebird, two colors you’re used to seeing on their most iconic models. From the NMDs to Alexander Wang’s skates designed for Adidas, all of them were sold in both hues. However, more color tones will be provided as soon as the Deerupt sneakers drop worldwide.

For now, take a first look at the most recent images of the Adidas Deerupt sneakers.
