Angèle Fights Sexism In New Music Video For ‘Balance Ton Quoi’

Let’s talk about Belgian’s most fun and promising pop star of the moment; Angèle. Selling out stadiums all over France and Belgium, the singer’s quickly conquering the European pop game with her fun, laid back and sweet pop songs. Next summer, Angèle will be heading on a huge festival tour including a show at one of Europe’s best festivals Rock Werchter, where she’ll once more show her ability to entertain a massive crowd.

Fighting sexism, but make it fashion

“Balance Ton Quoi” is her newest big hit and the music video is just perfect. The styling? On point. When we saw that Spring 2019 Couture Viktor & Rolf dress on the runway, we didn’t really like it. It felt corny and kind of stupid, at the time. But we have to admit that we totally love it in Angèle’s video. It fits the vibe perfectly. This is how a good styling looks like. The casting? Refreshing. Every single person in the video is so unique and extraordinary, that it’s lifting up the story of the video.

Anti-sexism is the theme of the video and is portrayed in such a charming way, that we really enjoy the way she is touching this ‘difficult’ subject. The plot and story line of the video is very well written and almost perfect. The emerging artist is really stepping up the game and we’re loving it.
