Designer Chiron Floris Based Her New Collection on Kitchen Workwear

Brussels-based but Maastricht-born designer Chiron Floris just created a new collection called “Plat Du Jour”. We are happy to showcase the beautiful collection with her photo series under the same name.

Inspiration From the Kitchen

Chiron drew inspiration from kitchen workwear and from her dad who works as a chef. She based the collection on the basic principles of kitchen workwear: functionality, durability, and timelessness. By designing the collection like this, she wanted to encourage people to challenge their views on fashion.

Can fashion be timeless, or is it a plat du jour?
