Premiere: Puntjudith Releases The Intriguing Video For Debut ‘Sabotage’

The Amsterdam-based singer Judith Rijsenbrij might be a new face for many, but her first release “Sabotage” radiates so much power and determination, that she’ll impress you from start to finish. Puntjudith, which also consists of Wannes Notenbaert and Adriaan Stoop, is a project to keep an eye on and we’re very happy to exclusively premiere their first big milestone.

“Sabotage” is the very first single of puntjudith’s first EP Snelweg, which will be released in early 2021, and is a very impressive introduction to a project that offers many different facets. “Our first single embodies the energy we’ve put in this project and that boils within me as an artist,” singer Judith Rijsenbrij says about the song.

A stupendous kick start

The video clip of “Sabotage” takes you on a stupendous journey that makes you hungry for more and proves once more that the new generation of creatives has incredible visions. For the visuals, the director Edward De Jong has gathered a team of students from the Film Academy in Amsterdam who bundled their forces to create something spectacular. The three-minute-long visual is rather dark and atmospheric but also shines a light on the talent of everyone involved.

“The video is about a group of teenagers in their twenties who try to escape their blind spot, but are stuck in a loop,” she says. While Rijsenbrij wrote the song from a personal perspective, the mesmerizing video transcends her perspective and tries to sketch a bigger picture. It’s not often that we hear or see this type of debut, which makes us curious and excited for puntjudith’s future.
