One of the best-kept secrets of fashion houses in Europe is the Puig Romeu family, who has been perfecting their knitting technique for decades and is regarded by the textile industry as the best in the world. Josep Puig Romeu decided to combine his family’s expertise with his own delicate and experimental esthetic to create the knitwear label BIELO. Working exclusively with high-end Japanese and Italian yarns, BIELO is an amalgamation of Japanese know-how with European craftmanship that’s ready to escape the intense Covid winter with their new capsule collection.

Escaping to a bright summer

Hallmarked by the label’s typically bright and cheerful colors, the collection offers a variety of delicately knitted, light-weight bags as well as colorful knitted T-shirts, masks, and socks made out of soft, breathable cotton. Using special weaving, knitting, and pleating techniques, BIELO created a semi-transparent fabric, yielding a bicolor effect, providing an eye-catching but delicate accessory range. The capsule also includes cheerful knitted collars and wristbands that add light-hearted details to the T-shirts. All in all, this collection is everything we need to say bye to the gloomy winter and hello to a bright summer.
