These 12 Albums Are Coming Out in March

A new month means a whole lot of new albums to look forward to! After a pretty impressive February, March seems to be even more promising. We’re getting long-awaited new records of artists such as Stromae, ROSALIA, and Rex Orange County. Something for everyone, you might say, so here are 12 albums that are coming out in the next couple of weeks!

Stromae — Multitude

Just to give you an idea of how hard the world is looking forward to a new Stromae album: it’s been almost ten years since he released the last one. With Multitude, the maestro makes his big comeback, and it’s looking very promising. Singles like “L’enfer” and “Santé” immediately landed on the first spot in the charts, and again, the visual aspect is impressive. Last week, Paul Van Haver played three shows to promote the album, and it seemed like he returned stronger than ever before. With influences from around the world mixed together in one album, Multitude will blow our minds!

‘Multitude’ will be out on the 4th of March.

Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul — Topical Dancer

If there’s one Belgian band that is on the edge of an international breakthrough, it has to be Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul. The duo, signed under DEEWEE (Soulwax and 2ManyDJs) is now finally releasing its debut album Topical Dancer after the success of their Zandoli EP in 2018. Throughout Topical Dancer, Charlotte and Bolis talk about their daily problems, such as racism, sexism, and abuse. But that doesn’t mean that the album is a heavy one because the duo managed to mix those hard topics with very danceable beats. It seems like Stromae isn’t the only contender for ‘Belgian Record of the Year’ …

‘Topical Dancer’ will be out on the 4th of March.

Nilüfer Yanya — Painless

It’s almost exactly three years ago since Nilüfer Yanya sang her way into our hearts with her debut album Miss Universe. Now, she seems to have found a way to stay there forever with her upcoming second record Painless. Or at least that is if the whole album will be as good as the singles. But since the British singer already made us fall in love with her songs like “midnight sun” and “anotherlife”, we think it’s safe to say that Painless will be a record to look forward to!

‘Painless’ will be out on the 4th of March.

Anna Shoemaker — Everything Is Fine (I’m Only on Fire)

The 4th of March will be a very special day for Anna Shoemaker, given the fact that she will put out her first album ever. The New York-based singer was already one of our favorite discoveries of the year, and we can imagine she will also be a revelation for a lot of pop hearts. Shoemaker was already compared to huge stars such as Olivia Rodrigo, and if Everything Is Fine (I’m Only on Fire) is in line with her singles, we’re sure she will walk the same path!

‘Everything Is Fine (I’m Only on Fire)’ will be out on the 4th of March.

Rex Orange County — WHO CARES?

It’s been almost three years since Rex Orange County completely disappeared from planet earth after releasing his fourth album Pony. But just a few weeks ago, he surprisingly re-appeared with a bunch of singles that will flow into WHO CARES?, which will be released later this month. As you may have seen, the album title is in caps, confirming the fact that Alexander O’Connor is more hyped than ever. Songs such as “AMAZING” and “KEEP IT UP” already were a great success, so we’re looking forward to everything else!

‘WHO CARES?’ will be out on the 11th of March.

GOOSE — Endless

The Belgian group GOOSE will celebrate its twentieth birthday this year with the release of their fifth album Endless. The band has shaped the Belgian electronic scene with their energetic live shows and epic songs like “Synrise”, cementing them as one of the most influential bands of the country. For their new album, they worked with the producer Victor Le Masne, who recently also worked on the new Kavinsky album. GOOSE’s music is for an eternity, and the new album will highlight their timeless sound even more.

‘Endless’ will be out on the 11th of March.

Charli XCX — CRASH

‘CRASH’ will, apparently, be Charli XCX’s last album ever, but except for the title and some collaborations, we still don’t know a lot about the record. The American singer released some singles, including “Beg For You” with Rina Sawayama and “New Shapes” featuring Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek, so we could say she’s making a statement about empowering women in the music industry. This fifth album will, either way, be the crown on the kingdom shaped by Charli XCX in the last few years, so it’s one to look forward to!

‘CRASH’ will be out on the 18th of March.

ROSALÍA — MOTOMAMI

There aren’t a lot of world-famous Spanish artists, but ROSALÍA counts as all of them. MOTOMAMI will be her long-awaited third album and features no other than The Weeknd, James Blake, and is rumored to have a collaboration with Frank Ocean. The first singles “SAOKO” and “CHICKEN TERIYAKI” blew our minds and were accompanied by impressive clips, so the least we can say is that MOTOMAMI will be a feast for the ears, as well as for the eyes. We can’t wait to see ROSALÍA on stage again!

‘MOTOMAMI’ will be out on the 18th of March.

Juicy — MOBILE

Belgian duo Juicy mixes R&B, classical music, and pop into one intriguing picture. The band has been working for a very long time on their debut album MOBILE, but in the meantime, they’ve played as an opening act for big artists such as the Belgian singer Angèle. And then, of course, there was COVID-19 … Now, Julie Rens en Sasha Vovk are ready to release their first album into the world. Singles “Love When It’s Getting Bad” and “You Don’t Have To Know” sounded very eclectic, so MOBILE promises to be an interesting exploration.

‘MOBILE’ will be out on the 18th of March.

Vendredi Sur Mer — Métamorphose

A few years ago, we were blown away by Swiss singer Vendredi Sur Mer, and since then, we’ve been looking forward to the release of her second album. Now, Charline Mignot will be back with Métamorphose, and it seems that this record will be even bigger than her first one. With “Le Lac”, she made us fall in love all over again. With the mix of dark electronica and happy pop, she’s definitely taking steps in the right direction.

‘Métamorphose’ will be out on the 18th of March.

Machine Gun Kelly — Mainstream Sellout

It’s been some time since Machine Gun Kelly changed his musical direction 180 degrees and went full-on pop-punk. For Tickets To My Downfall, he worked together with blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and he seemed to have enjoyed that collaboration. The new album Mainstream Sellout—a wink to his haters—will also contain his drums, and thanks to the first single “emo girl”, we already know that no other than Willow Smith is one of the features. Machine Gun Kelly seems to extrapolate his pop-punk path, so we’re curious where this journey will take us.

‘Mainstream Sellout’ will be out on the 25th of March.

Wallows — Tell Me That It’s Over

It seems like Wallows is running full speed ahead because only a few months after the Remote EP, the band is already back with a full album. Tell Me That It’s Over will be the band’s second album and will be the confirmation of their popularity. The project of front singer and American actor Dylan Minette will be a mix of lo-fi postpunk with indie-folk and early ’90s dance-pop psychedelia, so the least we can say is that Tell Me That’s It’s Over will be diverse!

Tell Me That It’s Over’ will be out on the 25th of March.
