The MM6 Spring/Summer 2022 collection celebrates the rebelliousness of female surrealist artists, who rejected conventionality. This is something that was clearly also integrated into the brand’s collaboration with Eastpak. A perfect example of this surrealism is the iconic Eastpak Padded Pak’r backpack that seems to be ‘dripping’ out of its form for this MM6 collaboration.
There is also the MM6 version of the Eastpak Japanese bag. Its triangular silhouette is inspired by origami art and allows the bag to change form through folding. Besides the previously mentioned bags, there are also the MM6 Maison Margiela x Eastpak crew XL Shoulder Bag and the MM6 Maison Margiela x Eastpak Poster Bag.
