After two years of doing digital graduation shows, the Antwerp Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts is back! On the third and fourth of June, 12 Master students from eight different countries will showcase their graduation collection. The show will also highlight the work of all three bachelor years. But there’s more!
The crowning glory stretching over this year’s show: honoring the official retirement of Walter Van Beirendonck as Head of the Antwerp Fashion Department. The infamous designer first became a lecturer at the Antwerp Fashion Department in 1985, taking the helm as head of the department in 2007.
