It wasn’t hard to find the ideal first bag for the peterselie universe, as the tote bag is one of the most prominent bags that is used by all genders. (No, a laptop bag doesn’t count!) By creating this leather carry-it-all bag, it wants to be one step closer to a world where bags have a gender-neutral connotation.
Belgian Brand Peterselie Creates Luxury Tote Bags to Fight for More Unisex Bags
Put a hand in the air if you have ever used, borrowed, or thrown away a cotton tote bag! I bet everyone just raised their hands. This new Brussels-based brand, named peterselie, will launch its first capsule collection to fight for unisex bags. The eyecatcher is a luxury leather tote bag.
Deadstock materials
The materials of the leather tote bags are deadstock from the luxury industry. The bags are made in the same Italian atelier as the Parisian ready-to-wear and accessories brand Coperni and the Antwerp-based fashion designer Christian Wijnants. It will be available in four colors: oiled black, matte black, matte white, and lacquered black. For every tote bag, there’s a matching cardholder.
The luxury leather and unisex tote bags will be available on the 6th of June at 6 PM via the website of peterselie. Prices go from €65 for a card holder, to €340 for the lacquered black tote bag.
