The song’s introspective lyrics center on inner self-doubts and existential worries, which is something many twenty-somethings can relate to, and prove how sharp Hunter’s songwriting is. Even though the meaning of the song is rather melancholic, the joyful production elevates the song to a pop anthem that you’ll be hitting on repeat.
In the music video, we see Eden Hunter in different surroundings that match the gloomy atmosphere of the song. Choreographed by Six The Musical’s Freya Sands, the movements and dancing of the singer feel chic and seem to be the common theme throughout her visuals. Eden Hunter doesn’t need much to stand out as a promising pop starlet and puts herself even more in the foreground with “Twenty.”.
