With coworking spaces across Belgium, Silversquare is known for its safe havens for professionals. People can collaborate and network but also calmly work on their projects. D’heygere was invited to design the three floors as Silversquare always asks a local artist to design the workspace and add soul to the spaces.

It may seem like a challenge for an accessory designer to step in the shoes of an interior designer, but D’heygere was up for it: “I think that jewelry and accessories are not far from objects. But it’s a very different way of working, and it’s also the longest job I’ve ever done. In fashion, you work for a period of six months, but this project will have taken about two years from start to finish.”

Contest

To celebrate the Antwerp opening, Silversquare is giving away one year of free coworking space: four people can win a private office and up to 11 people get the chance to win a flex membership. Participants need to submit a one-minute video elevator pitch where they introduce their business and why they’d benefit from joining the Silversquare community. The panel of judges consists of Dimitri O from Loop Earplugs, Pieter Van Leugenhagen from yondr, Odin Saillé from Mutant, and Silversquare Antwerp’s designer, Stéphanie D’heygere. This impressive jury will choose the most promising story and reward them with one year of free co-working space for your business.
