Levi’s® and Studio Ghibli have united their artistic skills to create a collection that seamlessly weaves the poetic allure of the film into wearable art. With its nod to Princess Mononoke’s intricate relationship between humankind and the natural world, the collaboration celebrates the film’s enduring appeal and the craftsmanship that both brands represent.
Enchanting Mononoke Attire
The Levi’s® x Princess Mononoke collection captures the film’s essence by integrating its lush landscapes and mystical characters onto denim pieces. The San & Wolf trucker jacket, Ashitaka jeans, and San & Moro shorts feature atmospheric denim adorned with cinematic forest and sun imagery. Meanwhile, the Nightwalker denim kimono jacket and Kodama overalls evoke the film’s environment, departing from traditional indigo tones to immerse wearers in the story’s atmosphere.
The collection also includes accessories inspired by Princess Mononoke. The iconic red battle mask San wore appears on a bandana, while the Ancient Forest hat adds a final touch to the complete look. Notably, the San & Ashitaka tote bag showcases both characters, and two coin pouches featuring San’s mask and Kodama’s face can be worn around the neck or attached to a belt loop or tote bag.
The collection will be available on Levi’s website and in the Kammenstraat store (Antwerp) from August 10.
