SLAVA: A Queer Celebration of Peace, Love, and Freedom

In the heart of Brussels, an electrifying night of music, resilience, and activism is set to unfold as Deep Down East, VESELKA Kyiv, and ZAIKA join forces once again for SLAVA. Initially conceived as a one-time event, SLAVA has since evolved into an ongoing fundraiser with a mission to support those affected by war and displacement. Taking place on February 28, 2025, at C12, this year’s edition is a fierce reminder of the power of peace, love, and freedom.

More than a party

SLAVA is not just a gathering of artists and partygoers; it’s a statement of solidarity. With over six million Ukrainian refugees unable to return home, the event serves as both a commemoration and a call to action. By providing a space where people can come together and stand against oppression, SLAVA continues to uphold the belief that music has the power to inspire change.

The impact of last year’s event was undeniable. SLAVA raised nearly €10,000, which was used to support Ukrainian queer organizations and a Palestinian refugee housing project in Brussels. This year, 100% of the event’s profits will once again be directed toward trusted aid organizations in Ukraine, ensuring tangible support for those in need.

A Lineup of Resilience

This year’s SLAVA brings together an exceptional lineup of artists whose music resonates with the themes of resistance and unity. The Belgian Propaganda Drag Collective will host the event and will feature Ukrainian DJs like Daria Kolosova, Catmint, Tweeman, and Alis.

Other artists on the lineup feature Belgian DJs Stanislawa, Henry Keller, Vera Moro, and Kathleen C. Set against the backdrop of C12’s underground scene, SLAVA promises a night where music becomes a movement, uniting people across borders.

Raising Awareness

Beyond the dance floor, SLAVA will be launching a special awareness campaign leading up to the event. Through a series of personal stories from artists and community members, the initiative aims to highlight the real-life impact of war and displacement while encouraging global solidarity.

Additionally, the headliners will make exclusive appearances on KIOSK Radio and GIMIC Radio, bringing SLAVA’s message to an even wider audience:
