A Belgian-Australian affair

Templa hails from Australia but has roots in Belgium. Their purpose is to create alpine outerwear that you will want to wear on and off the slopes. Though only established in 2017, the young award-winning brand is backed by experienced players. Anati Rakocz joined the business as a founding partner, after years at Ann Demeulemeester and Haider Ackermann.

With “Antwerp” emblazoned on the designs, Raf Simons pays homage to where his design dream first began. Bold graphic slogans capture the Belgian designer’s “aesthetic attitude” and personalize his signature style.

Please don’t touch my Raf

A$AP Rocky, who penned the line “please don’t touch my Raf”, was chosen to unveil the looks on Instagram. He took to the streets (not slopes) of Queens, New York, with photographer Cian Moore to tease the monochrome, baggy fits.

The launch date hasn’t been set in stone yet but we can expect the collaboration to be released “soon.” As the ski season draws to a close and we dust off our spring wardrobe, we can’t help but wish these looks had been served earlier. We’ll definitely make space for the graphic tees and sleeveless vests, as Templa and Simons blur the line between the mountains and the streets.
