The knee-high and over-the-knee boots are here to stay. If you like to go for rough, sexy and classy at the same time… these are your thing. Just don’t make Julia Roberts before the makeover your main source of inspiration. There has been a 90’s revival but not everything has to be taken too literally.
The award of most wanted boot of the season goes to Saint Laurent, with special thanks to Anthony Vaccarello. If you have an extra 6000€ and some good connection we’d say “go for it”. When that’s not an option… no worries… there are plenty of other sparkling options.
We haven’t seen this much cowboy boots since our trip to Texas. Calvin Klein, Céline, Vuitton,… Everyone seemed to be inspired by the wild wild west. Our personal favorites are definitely the Raf Simons for Calvin Klein ones. He re-created the classics with a twist, just the way we like it. If you want to go all Western, just promise us one thing: don’t go for a former Taylor Swift look. We’re still trying to mentally erase these images.
Those who weren’t an embryo during the 90’s probably remember these ones. It was one of those decades when everything came with a plateau. Honestly, we’re not the biggest fan. But platforms can be a good option when you’re really really small. However… if you’re taller than 1m75 we suggest you pick one of the above mentioned suggestions.
