Charlie’s Beach
Our first Berlin hotspot is close to Checkpoint Charlie, so if you’re planning on visiting that, we suggest you to stop by at this one afterwards. Charlie’s Beach is a trendy beach bar in Berlin-Mitte where you can go to have a drink and relax in the sun. Charlie’s Beach is often visited by locals. That’s mainly because of the beach vibes and the 2 food trucks on the property. Due to its central location directly at Checkpoint Charlie, the beach bar Charlie’s Beach is a favorite among tourists, too.
The Burger de Ville truck is a favorite burger hot spot (with its main base at Ku’damm) for locals. The other food truck is named ‘Woop Woop Icecream’ and is a truck where you can create your own ice cream out of fresh ingredients such as fruits, chocolate and milk in just 30 seconds. Something we desperately want to try out!
