Book Alert: Valentino Launches ‘The Valentino Garavani VLogo Signature book’

A brand’s logo says everything. That’s why Italian luxury brand Valentino released an exclusive artbook about their logo, ‘The Valentino Garavani VLogo Signature book’. Not only does this book make you an expert in Valentino’s world, but it would also look incredibly stylish on your coffee table.

The Italian fashion house calls the book a Valentino uncensored project because there were no boundaries in making it. In short, the book showcases the role of its VLogo Signature. But to do so, Valentino asked 16 magazines from all over the world to give new meaning to its logo, with total artistic freedom. Nothing was off-limits. Those efforts resulted in diverse images of what the VLogo Signature is, but also what it could become.

Logos surround us every day. But Valentino wants us to ask ourselves: “What do these logos convey? What echoes do they evoke?” Besides that, the brand looks into how its logo can become a big element in the aesthetics of T-shirts, shoes, and accessories.

Valentino’s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli curated the book. By adding sketches, illustrations, and signs, he merged all uncensored VLogo Signature images into one personal story. That way, the book fits perfectly into what we’re used to from Valentino.

‘The Valentino Garavani VLogo Signature book’ will be available halfway through November in selected Valentino boutiques worldwide and online on ideanow  for €62,50.
