BREAKING: Belgian Designer Glenn Martens is Diesel’s New Creative Director

As of today, 8 October, the creative director of Y/Project, Glenn Martens, is also the new creative director of the Italian brand Diesel.

Martens will be overseeing style, communications, and interior design. We know him for reconstructed denim and avant-garde silhouettes. Martens collaborated with Diesel before on the Red Tag Project in 2018, so he’s already familiar with the brand.

In its 42 years of existence, Diesel never had a new creative designer. But Diesel’s founder Renzo Rosso shared that he’s happy to hand his brand over now to someone with new energy and a fresh vision. We’re already excited about what’s to come!
