It’s clear there’s no stopping Cardi right now. After years of Instagram clout and a memorable stint on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop, Cardi B became the first female rapper in 19 years to score a US #1 with “Bodak Yellow” in 2017. Now the Bronx native is the most in-demand feature in music. She recently jumped on Migos’ “MotorSport” alongside Nicki Minaj, teamed up with Juicy J for the very explicit “Kamasutra”, joined her Migos fiancé Offset on “Um Yea” and scored another hit by joining G-Eazy, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Juicy J and Belly on “No Limit”.
With “No Limit,” “MotorSport” and “Bodak Yellow” still enjoying major success, her first 3 US Billboard Hot 100 entries are now in the chart’s Top 10 simultaneously. This makes her the first rapper to achieve that feat and only the third artist in history of the most important singles chart to do so. Only Ashanti and The Beatles have done it before her. Cardi’s second solo single “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage debuted at No. 14, so that’s 4 Cardi tracks in the Top 20. There’s no doubt “Finesse (Remix)” will join the top of the charts soon and become another addition to Cardi’s insane chart success.
Cardi B is set to release her debut album later this year and feature on an upcoming DJ Khaled and Jennifer Lopez collaboration soon.
“Finesse (Remix)” is now out on Spotify, YouTube and iTunes.
