Denim We Want! The Levi’s X Valentino Jeans Are Finally Here

Levi’s and Valentino, a collab we never knew we needed. The two brands collaborated on the re-edition of the 517 jeans, which were extremely popular in the ’60s. This is a classic boot cut leg like only Levi’s can create. Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the house, explains that the unisex-looking Levi’s jeans embody the same values as the Italian brand: iconic, harmonious, equality, and a new concept of romanticism for men and women.

The jeans were first shown in September 2020 during the Valentino show in Milan. At that time, vintage 517 Levi’s pants were used with a slight alteration to the back label: VALENTINO was added.

Now, months later, the collab is available for purchase. The collection consists out of two parts.
The runway pieces, being vintage pants from the ’70s, are available in selected Valentino boutiques and Net-a-porter. These one-of-a-kind altered Levi’s are very limited with only—yes, you guessed it—517 pieces up for sale.

The Levi’s re-edition 517 jeans, a re-elaboration of the original style, are available worldwide at Valentino and selected retailers.
