Designer Darlings: Chris Marcelo’s Mini Prada Bag

In March, we launched our brand new series ‘Designer Darlings‘, introducing six interesting personalities and their favorite designer item. After a little break, we’re back with new faces that accepted our invitation to step in front of Ines Vansteenkiste-Muylle‘s camera. Model and artist Chris Marcelo kicks off the re-start of our weekly feature.

Chris Marcelo flies all around the world as a model and discovers new musical horizons in his musical project Twelve. But he’s also using his creativity to work on his own fashion brand Malfunction. It’s no surprise that Chris is a big inspiration to many teenagers: he’s a gripping, young frontrunner who continues making waves as an artist, designer, and model.

Mini Prada Bag

Chris is a popular face during Fashion Week and bought his mini Prada bag last summer in Paris. While everybody was so in love with mini Jacquemus bags, Chris knew that he wanted something different. “I went to the Gallery Lafayette and saw this mini Prada bag, which immediately spoke to me,” he says about the bag he wears almost every day.

The little black bag is a very practical and compact piece that complements the style of Chris perfectly. “As a model, I’m used to wearing pieces that aren’t always my personal style, but I’ve managed to develop my own aesthetic.”
