Designer Darlings: Matthias Geerts and His Calvin Klein Boots
Last week, we launched our brand-new series ‘Designer Darlings‘, where we feature interesting personalities and their favorite designer item. The Antwerp-based fashion blogger and co-founder of jewelry brand Tawo Antwerp Matthias Geerts is the next personality that visited our office for a photoshoot with analog photographer Ines Vansteenkiste-Muylle.
Calvin Klein Boots
As an Antwerp-based fashion guru, it was an easy choice for Matthias to select his Calvin Klein Boots from one of the last collections of Raf Simons for the American fashion house. “The Boots are very elegant and I can wear them for multiple occasions, which make them my favorite designer item,” he answers when asked why he picked the black boots. The boots have a slight western vibe because of the silver tip and the little heel and are still an edgy eye catcher. When he bought the shoes two years ago and went to Fashion Week with them, street style photographers always loved shooting it.
