Did Billie Eilish Make One of the Best James Bond Songs Ever?

The Grammy Awards of 2020 will go down in history as the night of Billie Eilish. The 17-year-old global superstar took home five trophies and is the youngest artist to win all four of the awards’ major trophies. Following her groundbreaking debut album ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?’, the music phenomenon has been touring the world and attracting massive crowds. Considering her immense popularity, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Eilish was asked to make the title track of Daniel Craig’s last James Bond.

Beyoncé, Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran were in the running to record a song for the twenty-fifth instalment in the James Bond-franchise, but Eilish and her brother finally got the opportunity. Billie Eilish follows the likes of Adele, Madonna and Sam Smith and creates a big momentum with the highly-anticipated single.

No Time To Die

Billie Eilish’s theme song sounds exactly how we’d expected it to be and even better. It starts just with a piano and some violins, but steadily builds up to a breathtaking climax with Billie’s strong vocals in a key role. It’s incredible to see how a 17-year-old teenager and her older brother are able to captivate millions of people with their music.

“No Time To Die” sounds timeless, and has been labelled as one of the best Bond theme songs of all time by many media outlets and they’re definitely right. The sophisticated originality combined with the typical James Bond-theme song-arrangements get us hyped about Billie’s future, because she’s one of the brightest stars in music we’ve witnessed in a long time!
