It’s not a shock that Dior has chosen Lawrence as the face of this campaign. She has been a muse for the fashion brand since 2012 and has been an ambassador in numerous of its campaigns. Rumor has it, she even wore Dior on her wedding day, although it’s almost impossible to find a clear photo of the gown (apparently, it got its own hotel room to protect the secrecy).
Italian stylist Maria Grazia Chiuri designed the new pieces that give off a minimalist and elegant retro vibe. The sculptural beauty of these looks celebrates the essentials of the Dior style. The designs feel very timeless and act as an obvious nod to Christian Dior’s architectural interest. The collection also features some of the brand’s previous work with appearances of the iconic Lady Dior Ultra-Matte and Dior Bobby bags.
The campaign is shot by famous photographer Brigitte Niedermair, who captured images that perfectly accompany the minimalistic feel of the designs.
