Guess became a huge success in the eighties thanks to it’s signature style: a red triangle patch, stonewashed denim and ankle zippers. It was one of the first brands to create designer jeans. Almost as famous as the collections itself were the black and white ads created by Paul Marciano. Whether it were the featured supermodels such as Claudia Schiffer and Eva Herzigova or the pictures itself, it was a bank shot. Guess turned into the epitome of a seductive denim label designed for the modern, sexy wo(man).
Now, 35 years later, a capsule collection is launched with a makeover of some of their most iconic items. Think: logo tees, crop tops and denim in various guises. We made a selection of our favorite pieces and translated the 80’s vibe in our own way. Meet Guess Originals, the modern seduction.
