Editorial: The Art of Beauty

Some might not see make-up as an art form. We rather see it as applied art. The same amount of artistic expression goes into make-up, a painting or a sculpture. All forms just have a different purpose, some more commercial than others. Same extends to fashion.

Shot at Meatpack, a new Art Center in Antwerp, our purpose was to blend different artistic elements in one editorial. Since nothing is more narrow than compartmentalizing, we don’t believe in boundaries.

Baum Und Pferdgarten blazer. Calvin Klein by Raf Simons sleeves.

A brand-new and very interesting concept in Antwerp that combines fashion, food, art and nightlife. A part of the editorial was shot in the white box, which is the location’s art gallery and leads to the club, where the second part was shot.
