This Federico Cina fw18 Collection Is Entirely Genderless

Past month all our favorite labels revealed their take on the ultimate FW18 wardrobe. Which made social media a lot more interesting again. Also, It’s Instagram who granted us the opportunity to discover this new cutting-edge Italian brand dubbed Federico Cina. Being a rising star of his generation, he didn’t think twice when he presented his 100% gender neutral collection to the world.

Meet Federico Cina

Born in Cesena, a small town in Italy, Federico Cina considers himself a true artist. While trying to connect to a world he admired from a distance, he molded himself into the great designer he is now. However, it did not come easy. Like thousands of creatives out there, Federico struggled to find the right calling. In high school, he considered a career as an interior designer or a hairstylist. Only to realize that creating new things was what he wanted to do in life. That allowed him to explore his creative talents to the fullest. Finally, last year he entered the 9th edition of the FashionClash Festival. An annual international multidisciplinary event known for introducing innovative fashion designers to the general public. Here he is now, ready to take on any challenge.

The Collection

Federico Cina didn’t go far to design his FW18 collection, his persona was enough to come up with an uncommon genderless collection. The imagery displays a series of clothes worn by a man and a woman. Think neon prints, track pants, chunky sneakers, and a few statement winter pieces. All while keeping a healthy balance between on trend and timeless. Take a look at Federico Cina’s FW18 lookbook photographed by Gabriele Rosati & Luca Notafrancesco.
